Bright gold in colour, aromas of basil, bayleaf, thai mint, yellow capsicum and lemon peel - then through the palate yellow fruits, preserved lemon, apricot stone, lemongrass and fennel. Great intensity with a long salty mineral finish.
Gorka Izagirre produces Txakoli wines from the fiercely independent Basque region on the Northern coast of Spain. Close to Bilbao, it is one of the coolest and wettest maritime climates of Spain producing lively aromatic white wines.
